The High Precision rectangular carbon fibre tubes are laminated from prepreg High Strength carbon fibres and epoxy resin. The outer layer has a “twill” weave with the traditional aesthetic appeal of carbon. The carbon fibres are laminated in different directions in the wall thickness of the tube. This ensures the tube offers unique stiffness and strength and is also low weight. These carbon tubes are far more resistant to bending than metal alternatives.

The tubes are available in the dimensions 25x25mm, 40x40mm and 50x50mm with a maximum length of 2000mm and 2mm wall thickness. These new versions will replace the current 1600mm High Precision products and offer clear benefits:

The carbon tubes have been developed to be combined with Refiflex® 25S, 40S and 50S connectors. The tubes are often used in lightweight and rigid frames for mechanical engineering and product handling systems, as well as structures requiring minimal flexing and weight. Other uses include medical equipment and special automotive applications.

We label our products as industrial-grade quality. They are designed with a focus on mechanical performance, not on aesthetic appearance or visual-grade quality. Small pinholes or irregularities in the twill weave (pattern) can occur, which are a result of the production process and the manual finishing of the products.

Refiflex® Construction System

The unique Refiflex® construction system has been developed (by Refitech/Carbonwebshop) to offer engineers and constructors a flexible and simple method for making lightweight frames and constructions where stiffness is essential. Refiflex® is a construction system of full carbon fiber components with which carbon tubes and tubes can be connected.

The Refiflex® range consists of various carbon fiber connectors and joint plates that are easy to combine with our carbon fiber tubes, with which you can build almost any type of frame. By using glued carbon coupling pieces, heavy aluminum or plastic couplings with mechanical connections become superfluous. The Refiflex® connectors have a very low coefficient of expansion, are chemically resistant, stainless and resistant to temperatures of up to 100 degrees Celsius. These material properties make it possible for many constructions to be conceivable.

These rectangular carbon tubes are far more resistant to bending than metal alternatives and are available in 25x25mm (25S), 40x40mm (40S) and 50x50mm (50S) variants.
Refiflex® offers engineers a flexible and simple method for making lightweight frames and constructions where rigidity is essential. By using High Precision Rectangular carbon fiber tubes and carbon connectors, heavy aluminium or plastic connectors with mechanical connections are unnecessary. The carbon fiber tube connectors are stainless and resistant to many chemical substances.
The carbon joint plates can be used to connect different carbon components, for rigid construction. The carbon joint plates are laminated with high-quality carbon fibres and epoxy resin. In the core, carbon fibres are placed in a longitudinal and transverse direction. This gives the plates optimum strength and stiffness. The carbon joint plates from Refiflex are available in various dimensions.
We suggest using our Epoxy glue araldite 2031. This is a 2-component epoxy glue for carbon en glass fiber reinforced epoxy composites and ideal to built your own frame with our Refiflex® products.
