If you are looking for ultra-lightweight and stiff panel material, a sandwich panel is the product for you. The panels are made of two thin carbon fibre layers and an ultra-light foam core. The mechanical properties are tuned to a minimum weight an optimal stiffness with a reasonable strength. The hard foam core has a closed cell structure which gives the product an incredible stiffness.

These carbon sandwich panels are super light and rigid. The panels are composed of a core of closed-cell hard foam, which is covered on both sides with 2 layers of twill carbon fabric. The thickness of the panel has a tolerance of +/- 0,5mm. The foam core may have a partial seam, which is very slightly marked on the surface. This has no mechanical consequences.

The Sandwich panels can be mechanically processed. We offer post-processing such as sawing, waterjet cutting, and CNC milling.

We label our products as industrial-grade quality. They are designed with a focus on mechanical performance, not on aesthetic appearance or visual-grade quality. Small pinholes or irregularities in the twill weave (pattern) can occur, which are a result of the production process and the manual finishing of the products.
