Ultra lightweight carbon fibre tubes with a “twill” fabric top layer and a UV protective high gloss coating. This product is characterized by a wall thickness of 0,5mm. Very suitable for super lightweight construction with good stiffness and reasonable strength. The fibre volume content is approximately 65% and the fibre orientation is 50°-50°. Product length is 1000mm with a diameter tolerance of about 0,2 mm.

We label our products as industrial-grade quality. They are designed with a focus on mechanical performance, not on aesthetic appearance or visual-grade quality. Small pinholes or irregularities in the twill weave (pattern) can occur, which are a result of the production process and the manual finishing of the products.

Applications

These ultra lightweight tubes can be used in UAV’s, drones, precision robotics, measuring equipment, laboratories and model making, or other applications where multiple advantages are needed such as low weight, chemical resistance and temperature stability.
